SRSB Charity Event. Sheffield.
An Audience with Paul Pashley.
Sheffield’s Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) is extending an open invitation to enjoy an evening of music and conversation with one of our city’s most talented singing stars in An Audience with Paul Pashley.
Paul will be performing a selection of great songs from his debut album ‘More..’ and celebrating the works of Frank Sinatra in his 1OOth birthday year at the special event hosted by BBC Radio Sheffield’s Paulette Edwards.
As well as hearing Paul’s fabulous singing voice the audience will also have a chance to chat and ask Paul questions about his life and career.
He has agreed to take part in the special evening on Sunday March 1 at SRSB’s Mappin Street Centre after he was really impressed hearing about all the ways the charity helps adults and children who are blind or partially sighted.
“A friend invited me to see the work the charity did. After initially visiting for an hour, I spent half a day with them. I want to do something that puts a bit more money to helping people that need it. I hope to see you there”, said Paul.
Paul has also agreed during the evening to launch SRSB’s latest appeal to raise a massive £50,000 to buy a new minibus.
Tickets for An Audience with Paul Pashley cost £10, doors open at 5pm and all the money raised will go to the minibus fund.
Just 100 tickets will be on sale for what promises to be an intimate evening. They are available from Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind on 0114 272 2757 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
See you there!
